Even our estate is home to dozens of bird species, incredible trees and of course plenty of cute countryside critters like squirrels and rabbits. But a little further outside our estate, and across Cornwall, there are plenty of opportunities for you and your little ones to find, watch, and enjoy the company of Cornwall’s little critters.
Porfell Wildlife Park – Liskeard, Cornwall
Offering sanctuary to more than 250 creatures this wildlife park holds Cornwall’s largest collection of exotic animals. From meerkats to lemurs and reptiles to birds this is a highly interactive park that will allow your family to meet, hold, and care for their favourite animals.
Wingz Bird and Animal Sanctuary – St Blazey, Cornwall
A much smaller facility, Wingz Bird and Animal Sanctuary is just a short drive from our front door. Meet Oscar the Moluccan Cockatoo, Eddie the Bengal Eagle Owl and many others as you explore this quaint collection of exotic wildlife in the heart of Cornwall.
Paradise Park – Hayle, Cornwall
A little further out the way but well worth the visit is Paradise Park in Hayle. Available for birthday parties, day visits and private hire this wildlife park is the perfect spot for a bit of critter watching no matter the occasion. You’ll find play areas, close encounters attractions and direct interaction with the cutest animals around as well as plenty of impressive enclosures.
Blue Reef Aquarium – Newquay, Cornwall
Whether you’re planning a school trip, a family day out, a birthday party or even a corporate event, the Blue Reef Aquarium has everything you need. The Cornwall Hotel, Spa & Estate – St Austell, Cornwall
There’s plenty to be found throughout our 43 acre estate as well. Spotted recently on the estate include eagles, giant moths, hares, squirrels and a huge range of impressive birds native to Cornwall. We also have huge array of flowers, shrubbery, and old impressive trees throughout our woodland and parkland. Take a wander around our estate and see how many you can find!
